Sixth Season

Vermont Public Television is pleased to present a sixth season of REEL INDEPENDENTS: VERMONT'S FILM SHOWCASE. The series — a collaboration between VPT and the Vermont Film Commission — gives local filmmakers a statewide audience. Each of the pieces is making its television premiere.

Returning as host is Kenneth Peck, a teacher of film studies and independent filmmaker, who interviews the filmmakers.

	Act of Faith: The Making of Disappearances A behind-the-scenes documentary of Jay Craven's latest feature film. By Nat Winthrop and Gary Miller.

	Mind Games A chronicle of how Dr. Tom French and his family began a new life after a diagnosis of Lou Gehrig's disease. By Teo Zagar.
December 22
	Red State Voices Social conservatives in Virginia articulate their views on many of today's controversial issues. By Vermont filmmaker Neal Weiner.
