Sixth Season

Vermont Public Television is pleased to present a sixth season of REEL INDEPENDENTS: VERMONT'S FILM SHOWCASE. The series — a collaboration between VPT and the Vermont Film Commission — gives local filmmakers a statewide audience. Each of the pieces is making its television premiere.

Returning as host is Kenneth Peck, a teacher of film studies and independent filmmaker, who interviews the filmmakers.

A chronicle of how Dr. Tom French and his family began a new life after a diagnosis of Lou Gehrig's disease. By Teo Zagar.

 Red State Voices
Social conservatives in Virginia articulate their views on many of today's controversial issues. By Vermont filmmaker Neal Weiner.
